Motion Design Projection for the Euros FanZone 2024
Challenge
Create a captivating motion design piece for the 2024 Euros FanZone at Schadowplatz, which is projected onto the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf – one that interacts with the architectural layers of the building, conveys the dynamic energy of football, and simultaneously reflects the identity and emotion of the city.
The piece needed to be clear, bold, rhythmic and instantly engaging for thousands of passing viewers.
Delivery
Heart & Goal tells the story of football, emotion, the city of Düsseldorf, and the love for both.
Through rhythm, sound, graphics and typography, the piece translates the excitement of the Euros into a visual experience that feels both urban and emotional.
The motion plays with the depth and structure of the Schauspielhaus facade, merging football imagery with Düsseldorf references to create a unified, high-impact projection for the FanZone.
